Repair Warranty

All repairs completed by Cyan Tech come with a standard warranty covering parts and workmanship.

What’s Covered

  • Faulty replacement parts

  • Workmanship issues related to the repair

  • Problems directly caused by our repair process

If an issue occurs within the warranty period, we’ll re-diagnose and fix it at no cost (or provide a replacement part if needed).

What’s Not Covered

  • New physical damage (drops, cracks, liquid damage)

  • Issues unrelated to the repair performed

  • Devices previously repaired elsewhere

  • Battery health degradation over time

  • Third-party ROMs, mods, or software tampering

Warranty Periods

These are standard industry guidelines (you can tweak them):

  • Screens: 5 months

  • Batteries: 3 months

  • Internal components: 5 months

Screens on older devices:

We cannot guarantee aftermarket screens on certain older or rare models due to supplier variability — we will inform you before repair.

Returns & Refunds

For Devices (New or Refurbished)

All devices sold by Cyan Tech include an 8-month warranty period, which covers hardware faults not caused by physical damage or misuse.

Eligible for return/refund:

  • Device arrives faulty or non-functional

  • A hardware issue appears during the warranty period

  • Item is not as described

In these cases, we will:

  • Repair the device, or

  • Replace it with the same or similar model, or

  • Refund it if neither option is suitable

Not eligible:

  • Change of mind

  • Damage after delivery (drops, cracks, liquid)

  • Issues caused by software mods or unauthorized repairs

Accessories & Small Tech Products

  • Faulty on arrival → replace or refund

  • Wrong item received → replace

  • Change of mind → no returns unless otherwise stated

Return Shipping

  • If the item is faulty: Cyan Tech covers return shipping

  • If the item is being sent for inspection and found non-faulty: the customer covers shipping both ways

This is industry-standard and prevents abuse.
